The base game consists of cascading reels and a free spins trail. The player is awarded free spins if they move far enough up the trail in the same game cycle. The trails position is increased by one step for every cascade in the base game. There will also be a respins space on this trail labelled „encore” where the player is offered a free respin for landing on this position whilst holding their current trail value (all in the same game cycle). This way the player feels they are being helped to achieve free spins. If the player gets far enough up the trail it starts the free spins feature which will be Yggdrasil MultiMax mechanics. The player can frequently retrigger the free spins feature using the same cascade trail mechanics as the base game but an improved version of the trail.
